Company Description

Cornerstone Automation Systems (CASI) is a privately held, state-of-the-art software, engineering and production company that designs, manufacturers, and implements turnkey intelligent automation order fulfillment and receiving systems for warehouse and central pharmacy operations that serve a broad base of industries. The Company is owned by Management and other investors.

Position Description

We are seeking a motivated, self-managed Planner II who will be responsible for the MPS/MRP process, managing forecasting data and shop floor scheduling. Duties will include but are not limited to managing shortages and interfacing between purchasing and operations, daily production schedules, and managing release of projects from engineering to supply chain and operations. 

Responsibilities

Coordinate delivery of parts to expedite the flow of material to meet production schedule

Utilize ERP system to auto‐generate manufacturing work orders/purchase

Maintain daily production schedules for lean work cells and project kitting/manufacture

Forecast parts for service utilizing statistical analysis and Maintain MPS 

Coordinate/expedite manufacturing builds to ensure schedules are achieved

Completes status reports, such as production progress, rough cut capacity, and materials inventory

Leverage ERP system for improved efficiencies and cost improvements


Qualifications
Minimum 2-5 years of planning experience, with a focus on electro-mechanical components

Bachelor’s Degree in business, Finance or Engineering, or professional certification or equivalent

Ability to complete tasks and maintain deadlines in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

Experience with mechanical drawings, specifications, and documentation
Experience with SQL-based ERP systems
Experience with continuous production work cells and project-oriented job shop environments

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts, Kanban, pull systems, supply chain management
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Project, Excel, and PowerPoint

All successful candidates must have:

Two forms of valid documentation
Ability to pass a background check and drug test

Must be authorized to work in the United States
